Angel, a Mexican national, was facing deportation and came to SIREN for help. Now he’s a lawful permanent resident, on a pathway to citizenship and permanent protection from deportation.
Emanuel was kidnapped and beaten by the Venezuelan state security forces because he was a member of the opposition party. He escaped to the US and with SIREN acting as his legal representation he has gained asylum.
Javier was the target of gang violence in Honduras because of his sexual orientation. In search of a safer life he made his way to the US. With help from SIREN he was able make a successful claim for asylum and is now a permanent resident with legal status.
When these musicians refused to write a narcocorrido for a paramilitary commander their lives were threatened. Escaping Colombia they found asylum in the US with SIREN’s legal help.
In Mexico Emma’s ex partner had joined a dangerous cartel and an opposing cartel had threatened both Emma and her children due to how actions. Emma came to the US with her children to apply for asylum.
In the US she met Joel, a US citizen, and they fell in love. Joel petitioned for Emma’s asylum case but they were unable to navigate the system. With SIREN acting as their counsel however, Emma and her children are lawful permanent residents.
